Lana Del Rey gets very presidential in her latest and highly anticipated music video for "National Anthem". The video opens with a soft-voiced Del Rey singing "Happy Birthday" to Mr. President, played by new rapper, A$AP Rocky. The scene is very reminiscent to the affair between President John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe. Del Rey continues the video as Jackie O, Kennedy's loving wife. The "Born to Die" singer and Rocky reimagine history and reillustrate the image of the American/Presidential family.

Set in a 1960's, the video is played in a vintage filter, Del Rey and Rocky don retro inspired looks. Del Rey wears high-waisted trousers, flouncy blouses, and shift dresses complementing each look with her signature mod-inspired makeup and babydoll pout. Rocky wears a smart skinny suit and cardigans but remixes the classic trend with his usual bad boy bling.
"National Anthem" is the latest single from her album, Born to Die.
