Carine Roitfeld has released a teaser of her much anticipated magazine launch, CR Fashion Book. The official first issue will hit newsstands in September but she's giving readers a little taste with a prelude issue, "Issue 0", inserted into the July issue of V (CR and V are under the same publisher, Fashion Media Group LLC).

You can pick up the V issue July 5 when it hits newsstands. The New York Times got the exclusive scoop on the behind-the-scenes making of CR Fashion Book. Photographer, Sebastian Faena is clearly not a Condé Nast exclusive as he shot the pre-fall editorial for "Issue 0".

The video captures the theme of the issue - "obsession". Several slinky models surrounded by mirrors donned retro wigs amidst a black and white filter. Perhaps, Roitfeld's karaoke rendition of "You're So Vain" sparked this idea of the shoot - who knows?

The CR Fashion Book offices are located at The Standard, East Village Hotel in NYC.
