Age is just a number when it comes to the sexy Jenny McCarthy. The bombshell covered Playboy's July/August issue wearing nothing but knee-high boots and fingerless fishnet gloves. The host of NBC's Love in the Wild first stripped down for Playboy nearly 20 years ago; this issue is her seventh. The model tells PEOPLE that she's proud of this particular issue due to its "elegant" appeal.

"I'm really proud of it. The pictures are really gorgeous and classy. They could be out of W magazine. They're really elegant. It's probably a lot more sophisticated than a lot of the stuff you'd see of people with their clothes on."
Can McCarthy really make fingerless fishnet gloves sophisticated?
Continuing with her rave about the shoot, the star also notes that she loves Playboy's appreciation for voluptuous women. "The one thing I like about Playboy is they don't have the anorexic look," she says. "The women are voluptuous. So I didn't really want to diet. I just wanted to tone up."
Since making her Playboy debut 20 years ago, McCarthy has been dubbed Playmate of the Month and Playmate of the Year. She reached the peak of her career after hosting MTV's Singled Out. Entertainment Weekly named McCarthy "the Vanna White for the MTV generation." She has expanded her career through acting. She is now well-known for her works as an activist for autism awareness, an issue dear to her heart as McCarthy has an autistic son. The star has also made headlines from her relationship with Jim Carrey.
Her Playboy issue will hit stands Friday, June 29.
