Katy Perry's marriage with Russell Brand may have ended quickly, but the "Part of Me" star still has hope for her happily ever after. Perry who currently dates Florence + the Machine guitarist, Robert Ackroyd says "I still believe in love and marriage. [...] I've just learned lessons along the way. I regret nothing."
Last year, the "Teenage Dream" singer started her 124-date world tour which finished in January this year. Perry admits that it was her lowest point during that time as she was overwhelmed by her personal problems. Her film set to hit theaters July 5, Part of Me 3D, gives viewers a peek into her crumbling marriage with British comedian, Russell Brand. Perry had a difficult time keeping it all together during her tour, she said, "I had to smack myself across the face and say, 'These problems are my problems, they are not my audience's problems, learn to separate that'."

Perry's hectic schedule and booming career may have led to Brand filing for divorce. Perry told People, "I thought to myself, 'When I find that person that's going to be my life partner, I won't ever have to choose (between the partner and my career) ... they won't be threatened or have weird motives. [...] Then I started to realize, that's not true. That fairytale I had is not true for me right now." She also said that she tried her best to save the marriage, "I have that same belief system with everything, from career to my life to my personal life, everything. [...] And I will do everything it takes to not fail. And I did everything it took but it still failed."
Part of Me 3D will show the human side of the super pop-star. Perry sat down with MTV and discussed what to expect from the candid documentary, "In my personal struggle, you see me not changing and not giving up on this dream that I've had my whole life. Hopefully people are inspired by that. [...] You don't always see me with all the gorgeous lighting and makeup on and all that. I think it's fine. Hollywood is so fake and people need to realize that people are just people, and you, too, don't need to be born into something or have money or have whatever product someone is hawking on you. Find out what your gift is and nurture it."
The Part of Me 3D star may not be heading back down the aisle anytime soon but she has shared her views on a popular marital subject -- same sex marriage. When L'Uomo Vogue asked their cover-girl, Perry, her thoughts on the subject, she said, "I believe in equality. I believe in love without any limits. I come from a family environment where the topic lived with many prejudices, but I have shrugged them off."
