The hit HBO show True Blood makes it seem cool to be a vampire and although we know it is just a fictional show, the fashions are definitely real.   The hit show has just recently started it's 5th season and each season brings something new to each character.  There are beautiful people with complicated story lines that each week give the viewers something fantastic to look forward to and enjoy.  

Along with the complex characters are the clothes and style of each characters.  Since each of the characters appear to be human to the outside, their taste in apparel appeals to a wide audience.  The female vampire while grotesque when they go for the kill many times wear some of the coolest accessories, tops, dresses or jeans while the men of True Blood can be seen wearing denim and leather jackets while on the hunt or carrying on their daily lives.

With the success of many vampire and horror movies, popular culture is finding a way to make being one of the undead cool.  With the phenomenon, there is not reason the fashion and retail industry not to cash in what can be lucrative.  Television and movies have always been a medium for the public to discover what's new and what's hot.  Not only does True Blood entertain, the show also gives tips on what could possible be next in fashion.
