Wonder what Joan Rivers will say about this!
Zappos.com, the online shoe and apparel store, announced that they will be partnering with TV personality and the daughter of the opinionated E! Fashion Police host, Melissa Rivers, for their private label brand, The Cool People.
Called Melissa Rivers for The Cool People, the spring/summer 12' collection will offer simple yet fashion conscious apparel, with styles under $100. According to a press release, the clothing "was inspired by Rivers' desire to create apparel that would fit easily into her everyday wardrobe and busy lifestyle."

This will be the first venture for Melissa into the fashion market, and it is also the first time that Zappos will have a celebrity co-brand. It isn't the first time, though, the two have worked together. The online shopping site and Melissa were first introduced while she was competing on Celebrity Apprentice and had to complete a task for Zappos.
"Zappos is thrilled to partner with Melissa Rivers, as we think her achievable and relatable style is exactly what appeals to our consumer," Michelle Thomas, Sr. Marketing Manager for Zappos.com, said in the release.
A percentage of the sales from Melissa Rivers for The Cool People will be given to The WaterKeeper Alliance, a charity chosen by Melissa that protects clean water. The collection is available now on Zappos.com.
