Tory Burch is adding a new job to her already busy fashion plate. According to WWD, the designer will be joining the InStyle magazine team as a monthy advice columnist for their Ask a Designer Column.
In her first column, which will appear in the July issue of the magazine hitting newsstands next week, Burch takes three fashion questions from readers where she advises them on handbags and caftan's.
"To a 35-year-old woman with two kids looking for a timeless bag, Burch recommends Celine's $3,250 Trapeze. Another reader wants to know what looks good on women with long torsos and short legs. A high-waist skirt or a caftan, Burch answers," reports the fashion publication.
Burch will be taking over the column from fellow designer Rachel Roy, and previous writers included Marchesa's Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman.
In addition to the column, Burch will be contributing to the magazine's Pinterest page launching Friday, and will also be given a sidebar to plug celebrities who have worn her designs.© 2013 Fashion & Style.com All rights reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.
