German fashion designer, artist and photographer Karl Lagerfeld is collaborating with cosmetic label Shu Uemura to create a limited edition, holiday makeup line.
German fashion designer, artist and photographer Karl Lagerfeld is having a big and busy week. First he dressed Drew Barrymore in bridal ruffles, then he opened the exhibition for Chanel's Little Black Jacket and now, he announces his next big project: a cosmetic label Shu Uemura to launch a limited edition, Holiday Makeup Line.
The designer has been a huge fan of the label and has used their products on many occasions, not for the intended purpose but to brighten up his own illustrations. He told WWD, "Other manufacturers do not offer such beautiful colors."
The 17-piece collection will be in stores this Nov. with packaging and colors handpicked by the famed Chanel designer himself. Lagerfeld has already even photographed the accompanying campaign.
