“The Bachelorette” couple Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried have been enjoying their time together as an engaged couple and are excited as their time to get married gets closer. However, are the two starting to drift further apart as their work schedules get in the way?

Hartsock and Siegfried are used to spending time apart by now because their work takes them away from each other quite often, but they always manage to keep the spark alive. While Hartsock was busy in New York for New York Bridal Week, she admitted that she was missing her fiance and decided to send him a tweet.

On April 13, Hartsock tweeted to say that she was “missing this handsome man” and posted a photo of her and her fiance together. While the bride-to-be was busy, Siegfried didn’t sit at home in Seattle over the weekend, in fact, he headed off to New York City to keep his fiance company.

However, before heading over to his future wife, Siegfried did go on a trip to Boise where he spoke to the Bishop Kelly Baseball team and shared some of his stories with the young team. He has played baseball professionally with the Chicago Cubs briefly, but is now focusing on his real estate career.

Regardless of their distance, the two always appear to make things work, especially after living separately for some time when the show ended. The couple had some quirky techniques for keeping their spark alive. Siegfried revealed on pointer, which is to cook together over Facetime.

“Des and I would go to the grocery store together, pick out the same ingredients, then go back home and set up the camera and start cooking,” said Siegfried while adding that writing letters by hand and to “always be thinking” about your partner helped.

Now that the two are finally together living in Seattle, not only have they started a family together already with a puppy, but planning for the wedding has gotten a lot easier.

Hartsock has been working with designer Maggie Sottero to create her custom bridal gown that she designed. The bachelorette revealed that she is co-designing two dresses for her big day, which includes a “timeless, yet surprising” silhouette for when she walks down the isle and a “1920s-inspired” reception frock.
