Now everything from movies to your nails can appear in 3D!
Sally Hansen introduced a new magnetic nail polish Wednesday that takes nail art to a whole new level. Specially designed with a unique formula containing metallic particles, magnetic forces are able to create a 3D pattern on your nail in mere seconds. It works because when a built-in magnet is held above the nail, iron fillings in the formula gravitate toward the magnet forming a design hidden within.
Here is how to apply the Magnetic Nail Color polish on:
First, apply a base coat. Then shake the Magnetic Nail Color well and remove the magnet's overcap and set it aside. Apply a regular coat to nails and let dry.
Next, apply a thick second coat to one nail and hold the built-in magnet over the nail for 10 seconds. The guide should be rested just below the cuticle on the wet nail polish. Repeat this process for each nail, let dry, and finish with an additional top coat.
The polish costs $9.99 each and is available in Ionic Indigo, Red-y Response, Kinetic Copper, Silver Elements, Golden Conduct, Electric Emerald, Graphite Gravity and Polar Purple.
