Has Columbus Short's recent violent behavior put his role on the ABC hit series "Scandal" in jeopardy?

There's a possibility that his latest actions just may have the actor on the chopping block for the show as source recently revealed to TheUrbanDaily that 'Scandal' creator has a zero tolerance policy against violence and the 31-year-old was already given a warning stemming for his first violent incident that took place a month ago when he was reportedly in trouble with the law for domestic battery against his wife.

"Shonda Rhimes doesn't tolerate negative press," the source said. "[Shonda] issued him a warning to get his personal issues sorted out. We are told that if the actor "continues with his violent behavior, he could get the ax from the show.

As we previously reported, a warrant has been issued for Short's arrest after he allegedly got into a bar fight with a man in Los Angeles.

Short reportedly sucker punched a man and started a brutal fight at Gabe's Bar and Grill on March 15 resulting in the victim suffering from a broken nose and was said to have been unconscious for several minutes before being transported to a local hospital.

Short is facing a maximum sentence of up to four years in prison and his bail has been set at a whopping $50,000.

While many are shocked by the news of Short's violent behavior, this isn't the first time the "Drumline" actor has been in trouble with the law for fighting.

Not only was Short cited for violent behavior towards his wife just a month ago, but the actor was also allegedly involved in a brutal gym fight that landed him in serious trouble in 2010!

Short allegedly got into a physical altercation with a man at an LA Fitness Gym in 2010 and reportedly knocked his teeth out.

"Columbus is no stranger to trouble. He's had countless blow-ups! This guy has one nasty, nasty temper," a source revealed to HollywoodLife. "He used to pal around with these thugs long before he was famous. I would never, ever want to be on his bad side. The guy needs major help before he seriously injures another person."

We can't help but to be surprised by the news of Short's latest altercation. Watching him play the calm and collected role of Harrison on "Scandal" certainly never allowed for us to assume him to be violent. For the most part, Short has always appeared to be much like his character in the public, cool and well put together.
