Boxing champion Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom previously announced that they are expecting their first baby together and are no doubt excited about it. It looks like the couple’s parenting skill shave already kicked in as the world champion stated that he wouldn’t want his children involved in the risky sport.

Khan, who is expecting his baby girl in May, stated that he wouldn’t want to see his kids go through what he does. The 2009 World Light Welterweight Champion said that boxing is one of the toughest in the world and he would not want to see his child follow in his footsteps.

“A lot of people said to me if it were a boy, would you let your boy box? No I wouldn’t let my boy box, definitely not,” said Khan in an interview with BBC Breakfast. “Boxing is probably one of the toughest sports in the world, I know what I go through and I could never seen my child go through that.”

Louise Minchin asked Khan the same question, but about his daughter, and he replied, “Never.”

“My dad’s really happy with what I’ve achieved in the sport of boxing, but still it’s hard to see your son or your daughter in a boxing ring,” continued Khan. “When it comes to daughter, never, I’ll never let her throw a punch.”

Makhdoom has been posting Instagram pictures of herself going through her pregnancy journey, hinting that she can’t wait for the arrival of her “princess.”

Despite going through some physical changes, the mommy-to-be is enjoying the beginning of her motherhood and enjoys the beauty of the changes her body is going through.

“Only a few more weeks to go till my princess arrives,” tweeted Makhdoom. “Will be back home in the UK for my delivery with my amazing mama.”

While the happy couple anxiously wait for the arrival of their baby, there were previous reports that Khan cheated on his wife with model Christie Lee Houle, but he denied the rumors lashing at her saying, “In your dream!”

The model allegedly claimed that Khan kept his wedding ring on for their intimate liaison in late December, but Khan replied on Twitter saying, “Hahaha they make me laugh. As if I would touch you! #inyourdreams.”

The alleged hook-up took place just six days before Khan’s wife announced she was pregnant.

Makhdoom also took to Twitter to defend her husband and bash the model calling her a “desperate b****.”

“I’ve never been on to defend myself of my relationship,” continued Makhdoom. “At the end of the day my husband & I know the REAL truth and that’s what matters.”

“To the home wrecker trying 2 give me advice on who I should be with and shouldn’t...” said Khan’s wife after Houle claimed that he begged her for scandalous bathroom pictures and told her to wear sexy lingerie for their date.

“No1 knows my husband the way I do, not even the ones that lived with him all their life,” said Khan’s wife. “Only a wife knows the inside/out for her husband & I know how much of a gem mine is.”

However, the model insisted that Khan cheated on his wife after calling Houle, whom he had met at a charity event last March.

“Faryal needs to know Amir Khan will never change,” said Houle. “He cheats and cheats and cheats. I hope his wife gets the message and dumps his sorry arse and no other woman will touch him with a bargepole.”

Khan was also once accused of cheating with Playboy model Carla How as well as a Skype sex session with a woman in Arizona.

Putting the cheating rumors aside, the boxing champion is also excited for the arrival of his little girl as he previously tweeted, “Faryal & I are delighted to announce we’re having a baby - can’t wait! Thanks to our friends and family for all the support.”
