3. The Placenta Diet

“Mad Men” star January Jones revealed that she lost her pregnancy weight by eating her own placenta! “It’s not witch-crafty or anything! I suggest it to all moms! Your placenta gets dehydrated and made into vitamins. It’s something I was very hesitant about, but we’re the only mammals who don’t ingest our own placentas,” she said. On “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” Kim Kardashian also considered eating her placenta. Medical experts say that there is no benefit to eating the placenta and in fact, it could carry infectious diseases.

2. The hCG Diet

While January Jones ate her own placenta, “Orange Is The New Black” star Laura Prepon goes one step further and injects pregnant women’s urine. "I've always done crazy crash diets. I've ruined my metabolism that way. I did the hCG diet—[you're injected with] a hormone that's extracted from the urine of pregnant women!" Prepon said.

1. The Breatharian Diet

Madonna, Michelle Pfeiffer and “Human Barbie” Valeria Lukyanova are all rumored practitioners of the “Breatharian Diet,” which claims that followers can live without food. Some variations claim that dieters can simply smell food instead of eating it, while others claim that they can live on sunlight and air. Needless to say, this diet will actually kill you!
