We all know Shahrukh Khan is one of the most hardworking celebrities in the Bollywood industry, but perhaps he is putting a little too much pressure on himself. Khan was recently sent to the hospital after getting into an accident on the set of his new movie “Happy New Year” and now needs to undergo endoscopy.

According to Zee News, during the IAA Leadership Awards on March 1, SRK was asked if he was recovering well from his incident and he replied, “I have to undergo an endoscopy now. Inshallah, I don’t have to go under surgery, but endoscopy for sure.”

Khan had previously suffered a shoulder fracture one the movie set on Jan. 23 and had also torn his left knee’s patellar tendon. Doctors advised the actor to complete rest for two to three weeks, however, SRK had already continued to work but has been asked to avoid any sort of strenuous stuns.

“I am okay now. I just need to strengthen a little, so I will start exercise but it is painful to exercise,” said Khan. “But in the next one month, I will go easy on it.”

The 48-year-old added, “I am back to shooting, but for another one month, no action (for me).”

Farah Khan reportedly saw the actor injure himself while shooting at JW Marriott Hotel in Juhu earlier on Jan. 23. While filming for a dance sequence, a door reportedly fell on him and he hurt his face and head, however, the injuries were not too serious.

Nanavati Hospital’s casualty department said that SRK underwent a MRI scan and has left the hospital in one peace.

“Mr. Khan had a minor accident on the sets while shooting,” said Khan’s publicist. “He has a minor injury and has got the necessary medical aid. Mr. Khan is absolutely fine now. Thank you for all your wishes!”
