Given the influential and creative nature of fashion and music, it's only natural that the two worlds overlap every once in a while. The success stories range from Coachella and festival street style, to musicians who make their own costumes, and anytime anyone hears about this cool combination, it's music to the ears. That's why the fashion and music industry couldn't be more excited when they got the news that everyone's favorite Swedish deej, Avicii, was teaming up with Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply to be the face of their new campaign.
The 22-year-old DJ and producer is not only super talented and accomplished - he's already worked with the likes of David Guetta and signed with EMI in 2010 - he's also not terrible to look at. D&S couldn't have picked a more gorgeous superstar to represent their brand.
Recently, Ralph Lauren also released his 2012 limited-edition flanker of classic Romance (1998) called Romance Summer Blossom, for women. To solidify the link between the perfume Romance and ideas of love in American culture, The brand recently partnered with Sony Pictures for the release of movie The Vow by Michael Sucsy starring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. The film relates the story of a married couple, who after the wife is left amnesic following a car accident, have to attempt to ressuscitate their love relationship from scratch.
