The lawsuit "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Parks filed against her one-time friend, Angela Stanton, is taking a messy turn for the worst as Stanton has brought up some serious accusations against Parks regarding the means of her marriage with ex-convict, Apollo Nida.

As we previously reported, the self proclaimed Southern belle is currently suing her former friend, Angela Stanton, for allegations Stanton wrote against Parks' kinky sexy life in her book "Lies of a Real Housewife."

According to court documents, Stanton claimed Parks often "dressed up as a dominatrix" and had a "den for S&M," in her home. Parks was insulted by the freaky accusations and is suing her one-time friend for defamation of character for the claims in her book and interviews with Vibe.com.

Now Stanton has brought forward claims that question the authenticity of Parks' marriage.

In a new deposition for the case, Staton's ex-boyfriend, Justin Cody, came forward with accusations that Parks only married Nida to "save her own a**," RadarOnline reported.

"Before Phaedra used to talk to Apollo, she used to talk to this dude named DJ Nubbs ... that was Phaedra's boo," Cody said in the official deposition transcript obtained by RadarOnline. "And then Apollo came along and she wasn't even really ... I don't know there relationship."

According to Stanton and Cody, Parks was also engaged in the check fraud scheme that landed Nida, Stanton and other friends of Parks in jail for racketeering in 2004, which Parks adamantly denies. But Cody says that Parks was well aware and completely involved in Nida's fraudulent activities and only married him to prevent them from having to testify against one another.

"I don't know their relationship, but all I know [is] right when the [first fraud] case came all of a sudden she just popped up and married him," Cody said in his deposition.

"She was still dealing with DJ Nubbs and she popped up and married Apollo," he went on to say. "Phaedra was trying to save her own a**."

Parks has never been charged or named in any of her husband's fraud cases.
