There have been several rumors regarding the relationship between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif after they were spotted in Ibiza together and after their recent breakup, many fans thought that all possible engagement plans were over. Now the “Dhoom 3” actress and “Besharam” star appear to be back on talking terms. Does this mean they’re ready to get serious?

According to Mid Day, Kapoor and Kaif were spotted partying together at Kiran Rao’s house last week and although the two weren’t on talking terms, it turns out that they never broke up to begin with.

“They did not break up in the first place,” said a source. “It was a minor tiff and every other couple goes through this. They have been together for the past four years and they won’t break up because of a small argument.”

The couple recently got into an argument during their vacation in New York for New Year’s about where they stand in their relationship and have slowly been spending time apart. They reportedly didn’t get along during their shoot for Anurag Basu’s film, “Jagga Jasoos” and decided to give each other space, so much so that Kapoor only visited Kaif in her vanity van after three to four days of the shoot.

There were previous reports that Kaif turned down Kapoor’s proposal as she wanted to focus on her Bollywood career because getting married would jeopardize her work. Then the tables turned, while Kaif wanted to get serious, the actor wanted to focus on his projects instead.

In order to shut down dating rumors, the two expressed that they are single until they get married.

“I am single till I get married,” said Kapoor in an interview with India Today. “If I am in a relationship and if I talk about it and in case my relationship doesn’t work, that puts a lot of pressure on the girl and her reputation. People get very judgmental and our society judges girls a lot.”

Could one of Bollywood’s favorite couple be taking things more seriously now that they have sorted out their differences?
