We last saw Guns N’ Roses, or rather Axl Rose and Co., perform a string of Canadian dates in July 2013, following June gigs at New York City’s Governor’s Ball and a surprise show in Brooklyn. Now the band recently announced a line up of tour dates in Mexico and South America beginning in March 2014.

“In 2014, Guns N’ Roses are setting up for tour plans in 2014 beginning with a return to South America for multiple dates in the spring,” said a statement on the Guns N’ Roses website. “The start of the trip south begins with headlining the second night of the Hell & Heaven Metal Festival in Mexico City.”

According to Rolling Stone, the band will begin the tour in Mexico City at the festival on March 16, which will also include Korn, Rob Zombie, Twisted Sister and 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of fame inductees Kiss.

Tickets for the Hell & Heaven Metal Festival in Mexico are now available and Nightrain members will have exclusive early access to tickets on sale and VIP Upgrades.

Guns N’ Roses last released their sixth album, “Chinese Democracy,” a little over five years ago in 2008, however, hope to release a new LP soon.

Guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal previously stated that after the concerts, the band will create more time to focus on making music again.

“We just have little things on the back burner, just waiting for the right time for us to organize and make something new out of it,” said Thal. “Hopefully we can make more music - that’s what it’s about.”

Although Rose has continued to tour with his other bandmates, fans have hoped for a reunion with the original members including Slash, however, it doesn’t seem promising.

“That’s the $64,000 question,” said Slash on the “Larry King Now” show in October. “But, it’s not something that any of us have reached out to each other and said that we wanted to do thus far. So, rather than be a pessimist and say, ‘No, it’ll never happen,’ it’s not like I’m harboring a lot of resentment. But it’s not something that we’re all thinking about doing. So if it happens one day, it happens. If it doesn’t, I don’t think anybody’s, you know, losing any sleep over it.”

In the mean time, check out the dates Guns N’ Roses have announced so far for 2014:
