How Princess Beatrice Got Her Bikini Body: Royal Personal Trainer Reveals Workout Secrets



Princess Beatrice was recently spotted ringing in the New Year in a bikini on the beaches of St. Bart’s, and now the 25-year-old royal’s personal trainer has spoken out to reveal the princess’s workout secrets.

Nadya Fairweather works with Beatrice once a week when she is in London, and revealed that the princess’ determination and balanced approach to eating help her stay fit, writes the Daily Express.

Beatrice reportedly hired Fairweather when she was 18 after photos of her in a bikini were leaked to the press and brought on plenty of body criticism.

“It was very upsetting,” Fairweather said. “She was young and I don’t know any 18-year-old who has not had a bad photograph taken of them, especially in swimwear, so that is when our relationship started. She just thought: ‘Right, I need to get myself in shape because I will never get out of the media,’ so we started working together.”

Fairweather said that Beatrice dislikes going to the gym and instead focuses on outdoor workouts.

“I don’t do anything in a gym,” Fairweather said. “Whenever the weather is fine, I get my clients outside. Londoners spend so much time inside I thought it was really important for people to get outside and make use of the city’s beautiful parks. Beatrice works hard in every session and trains in all weathers without a single complaint.”

“She decided she wanted to run the marathon so I got her ready for that,” Fairweather said. “That was an amazing personal challenge. She climbed Mont Blanc about a year ago too, she really loved it. She found it so challenging but amazing. She said it was brilliant and she felt fit, which was really good.”

“We do a full body workout each time I see her,” Fairweather revealed. “We fit loads into a one-hour session as she has an amazing recovery time between sets of exercises.

“We start with the lower body first and work on the big muscle groups like your quads. I am a big believer in squats and lunges.

“As you get fitter and your form improves, you can start doing more intense moves. I do a lot of high-impact work with Beatrice now, jumping squats and lunges.”

Now, “Beatrice is in great shape,” Fairweather said.

“She eats, which helps. She eats really healthily but she eats, which is massive in a celebrity world full of people starving themselves and doing crazy fad diets which I just do not agree with. Beatrice has beautiful curves and she embraces that.”

“Beatrice is an amazing client,” Fairweather added. “She does plenty of training on her own between our sessions which makes it easier for me to keep challenging her with new equipment and different styles of training.”
