Salman Khan New Movie News 2014: ‘Jai Ho’ New Song Revealed With Daisy Shah, 'Tere Naina'

Many fans have been waiting for Salman Khan to release a new movie, as he hasn’t been featured in a new Bollywood film since “Dabangg” and “Ek Tha Tiger.” The actor has been busy filming for his newest film “Jai Ho” and now the crowd finally gets a sneak peak of the movie’s new song, “Tere Naina.”

The romantic song is a slow romantic number featuring Daisy Shah and shows some strong chemistry between the two actors.

Zee News reported that while the couple look good together in the song, hopefully their romance will carry on throughout the entire film.

Khan previously released the film’s first trailer teaser, giving his fans a sneak peak of what to expect in the romantic drama.

The 11 second video consists of two shots beginning with Khan swirling his iconic lucky charm bracelet and then a low angle shot of the actor walking out of a house. The video’s visuals leaves Khan’s fans wanting more and eager to see the full trailer.

The film’s official poster previously released hinting at a story based on people’s movement, which is why it says, “People’s Man” at the top of the picture. Khan plays a social crusader int he film which also features Tabu and Om Puri in leading roles.

“Grand Masti’s” Bruna Abdullah has been added to the cast after a role was especially created for her opposite cast member Ashmit Patel.

“Ashmit and Yash Tonk play Salman’s buddies,” said a source. “Everyone felt there was room for a romantic angle for Ashmit’s character and Bruna was brought in. She plays the girl Ashmit loves but he’s unable to express himself. Nadira Babbar (who plays Salman’s mother in the film), Tabu (who plays Salman’s sister) and Salman tease Ashmit about his tongue-tied predicament.”

“Mohnish Behl plays the chief minister,” said a source. “At the climax, Salman has to save the CM’s life to save the state from catastrophe, it’s a very patriotic film.”

Khan had originally suggested “Mental” for the title of the film, however, his father said that he “felt the title needed to be more pertinent” and wanted something patriotic, snce the movie will be releasing on Republic Day.

“Jai Ho” is reportedly the remake of “Stalin,” directed by A.R. Murugados, which is set to hit theaters on January 24, 2014.
