“The Bachelorette” Season 9 couple Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried have been enjoying their time together as an engaged couple. Although they have a while until their big day, they are not wasting any time to plan for their wedding.

A source told Wetpaint (as per CafeMom) that Hartsock and Siegfried are hoping to tie the knot sometime next winter, at the end of 2014 or beginning of 2015 because they don’t want anyone to steal their thunder.

“Next winter would be ideal,” said the source. “Both the next seasons of ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘The Bachelorette’ will have aired, leaving the spotlight wide open for Des and Chris to have the TV wedding of their dreams.”

Although the couple have not announced their wedding date, they initially wanted to get married during the summer of 2014, however, ABC had to push back their big day because of Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici’s big day.

After attending Siegfried’s sister’s wedding, Hartsock was inspired for her big day and has been active on social media, posting pictures and sharing her excitement for her wedding as well as a few ideas that she has planned.

“Inspired by these beautiful weddings #AnElegantAffair #DIYdetails,” said Hartsock as she posted a link to her blog showing off a variety of wedding details.

One thing that Hartsock is especially looking forward to is her wedding dress.

“She thinks it will be a great way to get her enough press to make a name for herself in bridal fashion once everyone sees how great of a designer she is,” said a source. “Desiree wasn’t originally on board with the idea of having a TV wedding, but after she thought about it, she realized that it was the perfect opportunity to launch her dream career as a bridal designer.”

As for location, Hartsock isn’t too sure about where she wants to tie the knot, however, she did say that it would either be in Seattle of California.
