As Salman Khan continues to shoot for his new movie “Jai Ho,” new secrets about the film slowly being to leak. Not only did the producers reveal that there will be a new heroine in the movie, but they recently released the film’s new movie poster with the leading actor’s face on the front.

IBN Live reported that the film’s first official poster hints at a story based on people’s movement, which is why it says “People’s Man” at the top of the picture. Khan plays a social crusader in the film which also features Tabu and Om Puri in leading roles.

“Grand Masti’s” Bruna Abdullah has been added to the cast after a role was especially created for her opposite cast member Ashmit Patel.

“Ashmit and Yash Tonk play Salman’s buddies,” said a source. “Everyone felt there was room for a romantic angle for Ashmit’s character and Bruna was brought in. She plays the girl Ashmit loves but he’s unable to express himself. Nadira Babbar (who plays Salman’s mother in the film), Tabu (who plays Salman’s sister) and Salman tease Ashmit about his tongue-tied predicament.”

The source also added that a song has been added which “comes on right the beginning of the film when there’s a rave party going on. Salman Khan is introduced in the film after the opening song.”

“Mohnish Behl plays the chief minister,” added the source. “At the climax, Salman has to save the CM’s life to save the state from catastrophe. It’s a very patriotic film.”

“Salman, Tabu and Nadira Babbar actually become like one family,” revealed the source. “They would look after the entire unit. To be honest, everyone was intimidated by Nadiraji. She is stern and not prone to ‘Mauj-masti’ (having fun) while working. Salman is just the opposite, and there were adjustment problems in the beginning. But these were soon sorted out. Salman went that extra-mile to adjust to Nadiraji.”

Khan had originally suggested “Mental” for the title of the film, however, his father said that he “felt the title needed to be more pertinent” and wanted something patriotic, snce the movie will be releasing on Republic Day.

“Jai Ho” is reportedly the remake of “Stalin,” directed by A.R. Murugados, which is set to hit theaters on January 24, 2014.
