It is no secret that Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan have had an ongoing feud with one another, however, after their hug at an Iftar party in August, they seem to be getting along. SRK and the “Dabangg” star are allegedly putting their differences aside and working on a new film together.

The two Khans are reportedly warming up to each other as they come together for Sajid Nadiadwala’s movie, “Kick,” but SRK doesn’t have a starring role in the film.

SRK and Khan will reportedly be working on the same film, but indirectly. Bollywood Life reported that Red Chillies VFX, which is owned by King Khan, will be working on the visual effects of Salman Khan’s movie “Kick.”

The last time SRK and Salman Khan worked together in a film was in 2002’s “Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam.”

Although it might be hard for the “Danbangg” star and SRK to become close friends, they certainly don’t mind showing each other some common courtesy. Bollywood scriptwriter Salim Khan says that there cannot be love between the two Khans as they are “rivals.”

“They are two individuals...Grown up people,” said Salim Khan to Zee News during his “Sholay” in 3D trailer launch. “I think there cannot be love between rivals. There can be courtesy. To have love between Salman and Shah Rukh is not possible. One should not expect that if Shah Rukh’s film is a successful then Salman will dance and celebrate. Or if Salman’s film is a hit so Shah Rukh will throw a party...It’s not possible,”

“Today people are intolerable, impatient...Small things hurt people, there are other people to create further problem. There should be courtesy between two rivals,” added Salim Khan while stating that he doesn’t see an everlasting friendship between SRK and the badshah.

Salim Khan, who is also Salman’s father, previously stated that he was proud of his son for taking the lead on the new friendship, however, it was just a common courtesy gesture.

“I am very happy that my son has taken initiative,” said Khan. “It was a sensible thing to do and a much-needed gesture and Shah Rukh reciprocated.”

Aamir Khan also expressed his views about the hug and that he was happy to see the two come together.

“When friendships are struck and people hug each other, it’s a good thing. It makes me very happy. I am very pleased [about the hug],” said Aamir Khan.

Even SRK expressed his thoughts on the hug via Twitter saying, “Finally u realize turning the page is the best feeling in the world, becos there is so much more to the book than the page u were stuck on.”
