The cast and crew of “Dhoom 3” currently wrapped up filming and now it appears that there is already talk of a “Dhoom 4.” As Aamir Khan’s much-awaited film is all set to release on December 20, fans are already hoping for the next in the series.

According to Times of India, there are rumors that Ajith is the ideal person to team up with Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra after John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan.

Ajith, who is also known as “Thala,” would be perfect for the film because he is already an avid car and bike racer in real life and also has a pilot license which could be put to use in the film. The actor has been doing action oriented films lately and has successfully played tough roles such as a gangster in “Billa” and a corrupt police officer in “Mankatha.” He most recently released “Arrambam” in which he performs some amazing stunts in which could be put to use in the fourth installment as well.

Although there aren’t any final plans for a “Dhoom 4,” fans are excited for the release of “Dhoom 3” which stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. Jackie Shroff plays Khan’s circus mentor when he is a child protegee preparing to be a circus clown.

It’s not surprise that the movie also features many action packed stunts, bike chases and car crashes, which is how Kaif makes her entrance in the film.

The cast and crew have been filming the action movie since June 2012 and just came to a big closure with the shoot of the last song featuring Aamir Khan and leading lady Katrina Kaif. Pinkvilla reported that Khan had to take a special month-long dance lesson in Australia for this new song. Apparently, he trained there to learn a very special, particular kind of dance form. Khan, who is playing a circus gymnast in the movie, shot for his final scenes in September while Kaif completed her shoot in October.

Now that filming is over, fans can expect the team to begin promoting “Dhoom 3” soon, however, Khan wants to keep it low during the promotions because he believes the film has the capacity to work on its own, even without the extensive promotions.

As songs for the film have not yet been released, fans can look forward to hearing the original "Dhoom" theme song.
