Amitabh Bachchan recently turned 71on Friday and many Bollywood celebrities, friends, family and fans wished the actor a very happy birthday, however, there was one special little girl who sang him his birthday song.
Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter, Aaradhya sang “Happy Birthday” for her grandfather on his big day. Zee News reported that Big B posted on his official blog about how the little miss Bachchan was cutely set to wish the star at midnight.
“The family, the few that are in town, bring in the greetings, the ‘little one’ ably tutored sings a “happy birthday” to herself first and then after suitable prompting, to me ... its these little moments that make up a birthday ... the bigger moments follow,” said Bachchan.
It seems that Bachchan is enjoying all the joys the little girl is showering on him with her adorability and super cuteness. Maybe Amitabh Bachchan will sing to his granddaughter as well as Aaradhya turns two this November.
Other celebrities such as Irrfan Khan, Ayushmaan Khurrana, Preity Zinta, Jackie Shroff and many more wished Big Bachchan on his special day and even recognized the Bollywood legend with their favorite songs by him.
“He is one cool dude. My favorite songs of Mr. Bachchan are ‘Yeh Kahaan aa Gaye Hum,’ ‘My Name is Anthony Gonzalves’ and ‘Aaj Rapat Jaayen,’” said Jackie Shroff.
"The Big B just gets better and better with time. His innings is just never-ending. I am close to the entire family. Aishwarya, Abhishek, Jaya aunty...I can't say I'm that close to Amit uncle. He is just so...up there, so distant and so mysterious. I am intimidated and awed by him," said Preity Zinta. "I've worked with him in three films. I had some meaty scenes with him in 'Veer-Zaara' and Rituparno Ghosh's 'The Last Lear'. Believe me it was a learning experience. My favourite songs? 'Kabhi kabhie mere dil mein' ('Kabhi Kabhie'), 'Rang barse' ('Silsila') and 'Choo kar mere man ko' ('Yaarana'). The songs are a good indication of his awesome versatility."
"Amitji is turning 71 this year. But his energy level is that of a 17-year-old," said Raza Murad. "That indefatigable energy has kept the Shahenshah going. He is an ageless wonder. My favourite songs of Amitji are 'Khaike paan benaras waala' ('Don'), 'Dekha ek khwaab' ('Silsila') and 'Inteha ho gayi' ('Sharaabi').© 2013 Fashion & Style.com All rights reserved.
