The two popular Khans in Bollywood have been known to have a feud with one another for a long time. Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan were recently spotted hugging at an Iftar party a while back, making an effort to patch things up. Looks like the “Mental” actor continues with the positive gesture, inviting SRK to his “Big Boss 7” event.

After the big launch of “Big Boss 7,” One India Entertainment reported that Salman Khan has invited Shahrukh Khan to promote his films on the show. SRK quickly reacted to the invite saying that he would be more than happy to promote his movies on the reality show.

SRK stated it might be some time before he makes an appearance on “Big Boss” for a promotion since he is in the process of filming his newest movie, “Happy New Year,” which is expected to hit theaters in 2014. The film, directed by Farah Khan, also co-stars Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan and has recently began filming at the start of September in Dubai.

At the launch of “Big Boss 7,” Salman Khan talked about SRK, acknowledging the box office record he set with “Chennai Express.” He also mentioned that he doesn’t hold any personal enmity but the battle between the two only exists at the box office.

Ever since the two were spotted hugged it out at MLA Baba Siddique’s Ifar party, the actors decided to put their differences aside. SRK invited Salman Khan to his Eid party at his Mannat house which served a dual purpose of not only promoting his new film “Chennai Express,” but the arrival and well being of their newborn AbRam.

SRK has been in a happy state since the arrival of his son, AbRam, finally returning from the hospital to their Mannat home and resolving an old rivalry with Salman Khan. SRK wants to celebrate his happiness with family and friends through an Iftar party at his Dubai residence.

“I would really like to celebrate the day apart from the religious sentiments attached to it for all the good things happening around me," said SRK in a recent press conference. "I will celebrate it with the whole team of my film, I will keep a party at my home and we will all meet."
