“Parks and Recreation” star Rashida Jones and her sister Kidada Jones star in the new campaign for Band of Outsiders.
Rashida and Kidada wear Scott Sternberg’s Billie Holiday and Atari-inspired Fall/Winter collection, including turban scarf hats and zip-up booties, in Polaroid photos for the campaign, Fashionista reports. The campaign is the first to be referred to as Band of Outsiders (without the “Boy” or "Girl" labels) and also for the first time, text is printed over the images.

Band of Outsiders Creative Director Scott Sternberg shot the sisters at the Dresden Restaurant in Los Angeles, reports the New York Daily News.
Text includes words seemingly referring to the clothing – including “Fall,” “Space,” “Turbs” (for Turban), “Dods” and “Sheeds.”
However, one photo of Rashida and Kidada sitting side-by-side features the word “Sisters.”
Rashida and Kidada are the daughters of famous music producer Quincy Jones and actress and model Peggy Lipton.
Rashida has starred in films including “Celeste and Jesse Forever” (which she also co-wrote), “I Love You, Man” and “The Muppets.” She may be best known for her TV roles, including Ann Perkins on “Parks and recreation” and Karen Filippelli on “The Office.”
Kidada is a model and fashion designer. She gained attention after styling Michael Jackson for the cover of her father’s publication Vibe magazine in 1995. She went on to work with Tommy Hilfiger. She was engaged to Tupac Shakur at the time of his death.
Previous Band of Outsiders campaigns have featured Frank Ocean, Josh Brolin and Michelle Williams.
Some of the images have already been released on Band of Outsiders’ Tumblr and Instagram pages, with more to come.
