Lindsay Lohan Rehab 2013: Ben Affleck Gives 'The Canyons' Star Advice on Sobriety
After eight days of completing her 90-day court-mandated rehab stay, Lindsay Lohan was reportedly up late partying with The Wanted crew. Lohan did say that she wanted to stay alcohol free, and now Ben Affleck has stepped in to help her with some advice.
While in rehab, Affleck visited Lohan to show his support and share some advice on maintaining sobriety while in Hollywood.
Affleck was in rehab back in 2001 for alcohol abuse as well. He realized he needed help, and got in touch with his friends such as Charlie Sheen who arranged a room for him at Promises, an exclusive drug and alcohol rehab center in Malibu.
TMZ reported that the two of them met somewhere away from the Cliffside rehab facility in Malibu where Lohan was getting treatment. The Oscar winner advised Lohan on how to maintain sobriety after rehab for someone in Hollywood and how she can also turn her career around with her talent.
Affleck showed his support and shared that the entertainment community is supportive of her and other people who are making a real effort to getting better and staying clean. Apparently the talk really touched her as she is now trying to stay sober.
Not only is Lohan trying to stay sober at home, but in hotel rooms, dressing rooms, and her mom Dina’s house as well. She will travel with a sober coach for at least a week to help her make sure she doesn’t cave into the temptation to drink.
“The Canyons” star has previously checked into a Beverly Hills hotel and ordered the staff to remove all traces of alcohol from her room before she arrived. It seems that the staff did as they were told to help Lohan with her sobriety goal.
When Lohan guest hosted on the “Chelsea Lately” show, she demanded that her dressing room to be stocked with non-alcoholic beverages only.© 2013 Fashion & Style.com All rights reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.
