Shahrukh Khan Twitter on Salman Khan Fight 2013: SRK Finally Speaks Up on Baadshah Hug, Beyond ‘Oneupmanship’
After news broke out about Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan’s hug at an Iftar party, SRK posted on twitter about his relief about moving on from the rivalry. However after being asked questions about the hug, he refused to say anything. Now, finally King Khan speaks up and comments about the act.
Shahrukh Khan says that him and Salamn Khan have become more mature and their relationship is no longer about oneupmanship.
“It has gone beyond this (oneupmanship). There is no question of bowing or making him bow now. It may have been the case two-three years ago. Whether he should speak first or I should... We have become more mature now,” said Shah Rukh to Zee News.
The Khans have previously worked together in films such as “Karan Arjun,” “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,” “Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam,” and “har Dil Jo Pyar Karega.”
“I have great respect for him, not only as a friend and as a family but as a star and as an actor. They helped me when I first came to Bollywood though I am the senior,” said Shah Rukh.
After a fight broke out between the Khan’s at ex-girlfriend, Katrina Kaif’s birthday party in 2008, the two were seen hugging it out at MLA Baba Siddique’s Iftar party in July 2013.
SRK then moved to Twitter saying, “Finally u realize turning the page is the best feeling int he world, becos there is so much more to the book that the page u were stuck on.”
The Khans were recently spotted at Mumbai’s Mehboob Studios but for different reasons. SRK came into the studios in a white BMW for a promotional event for “Chennai Express” along with Deepika Padukone, while Salman Khan drove in for a shoot. The two Khans were not aware of each other’s presence, and didn’t know if they ran into each other. But they eventually did realize that they were on the same premises, but even so, seemed pretty relaxed.© 2013 Fashion & Style.com All rights reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.
