Richie Sambora Insults Jon Bon Jovi? Twitter Clarification New Song ‘Come Back As Me’ Not About Jon [VIDEO, LISTEN]
The Bon Jovi/Sambora split has been turning into quite a controversy. After Jon Bon Jovi suggested that Richie Sambora might be having alcohol issues, the feud and trash talking began. Rumors have been floating around that the release of Sambora’s new song, “Come Back at Me” is about Bon Jovi. However, his Twitter post says otherwise.
According to Expose Entertainment, the former lead guitarist of the band Bon Jovi wrote his new song including words which appear to refer to his spat with the singer.
“What do you want me to say / I’ll tell you anything you wanna know / You want to know about disappointment, baby I haven’t watched that show,” wrote Sambora in the song.
Just when he decided to release the single, Sambora Tweeted, “Since everybody was diggin’ stuff figured I’d lay something new on ya. And the lyric is pretty timely.”
Another verse in the song reads, “In spite of it all, in all that you see / if I die tomorrow, I’ll come back as me? / Not Elvis, or God not Frankie not Dean / If I die tomorrow I’ll come back as me.”
To clarify the rumors, Sambora recently tweeted that his song is not about Jon Bon Jovi.
“This songs gettin’ some traction, so I would sincerely appreciate any help. BTW this has nothin’ to do with Jon...,” said Sambora.
Previously we reported that a source revealed to RadarOnline that “Jon has been keeping Richie out of the band. And, frankly, he’s been a really jerk to Richie, saying some awful things.”
Apparently, one of these “awful” things was said when Bon Jovi’s daughter had issues with heroin.
